Bike Light setup?

Postby trail assassin on Feb 3rd, 2010, 1:27 am

What kind of light are yall using for your night excursions on the trails? I'm considering tackling the trails while the sun sets and it's dark. Should I run a nice bike light and use a small cheapy light for the helmet? Is a red blinky necessary?

I know, it sounds to good to be true but its awesome. Read the reviews and watch some you tube reviews on it. And its waterproof.

Yup thats easily the best light for your money.

Its nowhere near 900 Lumens tho, more like 500 which is still pretty good.

Skip the rear blinky for the trails.

That is cheap!

I have a Dinotte 600 but it runs $400.

Yup and if you crash and smash it, who cares, get another one. They have a helmet mount for it also. Plus, it comes with a cool sticker.

Well, i havent had any problems at all with mine. Who cares if its not the brightest light, who cares if some say it has a green tint. It keeps me from smacking into a tree for $80 so im happy. $80, thats like buying 2 tires. And really, the thing is bright as hell.

This is what I use..
